1920, Scottish Highlands. Seventeen-year-old Marie Sinclair has just left her home of Moorend Farm in rural Yorkshire for the first time. She’s anxious, but excited to see what the world has in store for her outside the confines of her family home. Her older brother Jamie and his family eagerly await her arrival in Scotland.
