Wendy Church, PhD, is the author of the Shadows of Chicago Mysteries. Knife Skills, the first in the series, received a Starred Review from Kirkus Reviews. Her debut novel, and the first in her Jesse O’Hara series, Murder on the Spanish Seas, was named by Booklist as a Top 10 Debut Mystery & Thriller of 2023. Five Things I See is the first installment in her brand new Detective Grace Hartwell thriller series. She lives in Seattle, Washington with her partner and several animals.
